Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle is seeking a Project Manager I to coordinate and manage a portfolio of complex clinical trials and translational research opportunities from early partnerships to trial open. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage timelines, and align milestones with sponsors and internal stakeholders.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and flexibility in a rapidly changing environment within the Immunotherapy Integrated Research Center PMO.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in related field or equivalent experience.
• 3 years post-master's or 5 years post-bachelor's project/study management experience in a research setting.
• Grant and contract experience.
• Budgeting experience.

Responsibilities

• Create timelines and track trial implementation progress for financial, contractual, regulatory, and clinical activities.
• Serve as project/study liaison, representing the project/study to other Center departments, funding sources, affiliated individuals or institutions, and outside organizations.
• Lead cross-functional teams and track action items and deliverables.
• Manage internal and external stakeholder expectations.
• Triage project issues and ensure solutions are implemented.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to determine prioritization of competing activities.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with faculty members, project sponsors, research administration, administrative departments and peers.
• Manage multiple projects of varying size as assigned.
