Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle is actively seeking a Manager of Community Site Clinical Research Operations to lead multicenter oncology trials and oversee a dedicated research team embedded at community locations. You will drive startup, enrollment, data integrity and regulatory compliance across sites.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 4 years in FDA-regulated trials (oncology preferred), and proven leadership of clinical research staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification or experience.
• 4 years' experience in interventional, FDA-regulated clinical trials, preferably oncology.
• At least 2 years' experience managing personnel and training team members.
• Knowledge of FDA regulations, GCP guidelines, and other applicable federal regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
• Experience working with EHR systems and clinical trial management systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee study startup at community sites, coordinating with central teams to move studies from feasibility through activation.
• Ensure protocols are carried out across the full study lifecycle from feasibility to closeout.
• Support integration of research activities into clinical workflows to minimize disruption to patient care.
• Monitor enrollment and engage sites, supporting recruitment and retention strategies.
• Forecast resources, coordinate cross-site support, and develop contingency plans for staff coverage.
• Manage site-based research staff to ensure quality and compliance.
• Build relationships with community providers, site leadership, and external partners.
