Job summary

Skin Cancer & Dermatology Institute seeks a Clinical Research Manager to oversee the daily operations of the clinical trial program in Reno, NV. You will work with Principal Investigators, leadership, and partners to ensure protocol adherence and patient safety.

You will supervise the research team, manage budgets, start-up and close-out activities, and ensure compliance with NIH/FDA regulations while maintaining confidentiality and high standards of medical office operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–4 years of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in a dermatology environment.
• CCRC certification required.
• IATA and GCP certifications required or able to procure quickly.
• Supervisory experience in a medical setting required.
• Experience with EMR systems.
• High school diploma or above.
• Certified BLS/CPR required.

Responsibilities

• Manages activities for each clinical study, including start-up, budgets, implementation and close-outs.
• Collaborates with PI, leadership and partners to ensure protocol compliance and safety.
• Oversees workflow of the research team and ensures trials follow guidelines.
• Reviews study feasibility and budgets, and secures CFO approvals.
• Directs department activities and tracks payments to providers.
• Liaises between investigators, sponsors and facilities; prepares reports as needed.
• Monitors lab and clinic procedures for protocol compliance.
• Ensures enrollment and activities comply with regulatory standards.
