Job summary

Stamford Health seeks a capable manager to oversee the Office of Research's Oncology and non-Oncology clinical trials. You will supervise trial staff, review protocols, budgets and documents, and coordinate with legal and CROs to ensure compliance.

Responsibilities include negotiating budgets, ensuring accurate billing in line with government guidelines, and tracking study milestones and revenues. The role requires leadership, strong communication, and robust financial oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master’s preferred.
• Five years of experience in a healthcare setting involving clinical trials.
• Exceptional computer literacy with strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the department related to Oncology and non-Oncology clinical trials.
• Manage staff including coordinators, data specialists, finance analysts, regulatory coordinators and researchers.
• Seek trial opportunities, review protocols, and manage CDA process.
• Review contracts, consent, budgets, amendments and documentation for appropriateness.
• Liaise between Stamford Health legal, trials program and CRO/sponsor to ensure document consistency and compliance.
