Job summary

Summit Clinical Research Solutions in Dallas seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support day-to-day clinical trial operations, including the preparation and dispensation of compounded sterile investigational products. The role demands strict adherence to USP 797, proper aseptic technique, and a strong background in sterile IV compounding.

The technician will collaborate closely with the Clinical team, attend meetings to promote studies, document daily activities, and maintain IP logs and temperature

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacy Technician in Texas with current credentials.
• Minimum 2 years Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Proficient in MS Office and basic medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Investigational Product including sterile IV compounding.
• Comply with USP <797> standards and IP documentation.
• Receive IP shipments, log contents, and ensure proper custody.
• Document shipments in sponsor portals and IP logs.
• Upload monthly temperature logs and report excursions.
• IP dispensing, verification, returns, and inventory control.
• Maintain pharmacy binder and schedule routine monitor calibrations.
• Provide training to support staff and coordinate with Lab/Clinic teams.
• Maintain subject confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
