Job summary

Summit Health Infusion Center is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to ensure safe medication preparation and infusion services. You will review prescriptions, compound medications, and maintain accurate inventories in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Requirements include NY Pharmacy Technician registration, CPhT with PTCB, and at least 2 years of hospital experience with IV compounding. English communication and a valid license are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be registered as a NY Pharmacy Technician.
• CPhT certification with PTCB required.
• Minimum 2 years hospital experience including IV compounding.

Responsibilities

• Review prescriptions for accuracy and ingredients.
• Compound medications, chemotherapy, and biotherapy.
• Maintain QA logs and inventory control for medications.
• Receive, restock, and organize medications in the infusion center.
• Enter medications into and remove them from the Nucleus System.
