Job summary

ERA Health Research in Redmond, WA seeks a Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator I to oversee all aspects of clinical trials, ensuring compliance with GCP, ethics, and regulatory requirements while safeguarding participant safety and data integrity.

The role requires an active Washington RN license, at least one year of clinical or clinical research experience, and strong organizational and communication skills. Travel to affiliate sites may be involved; relocation is not offered.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Washington State RN license required upon hire and maintained throughout employment.
• At least one year of clinical and/or clinical research experience.
• Current CPR or BLS certification, or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
• Venipuncture and IV start skills or ability to learn within first 30 days.
• Meticulous attention to detail, with ability to follow complex instructions and protocols precisely.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify objectives, endpoints and outcome measures for a given clinical trial.
• Implement protocol and amendments per GCP, ensuring use of IRB/IEC approved versions of study documents.
• Schedule, coordinate, and prepare documents, equipment, facilities for site initiation visits.
• Complete training and interpret a study implementation plan impacting coordinator tasks.
• Ensure SOP alignment with study requirements.
• Identify study supplies and reconcile inventory for the trial.
• Develop trial management tools (calendar, source documents, retention materials).
• Complete pre-screening, screening and enrollment logs accurate and timely.
• Coordinate with regulatory, recruitment, and clinical staff to schedule patient visits.
• Complete informed consent and randomization per protocol and SOPs.
• Support investigational products labeling, preparation and dispensing.
• Perform nursing assessments and protocol-related procedures (vital signs, ECGs, IV starts).
• Administer investigational products and monitor patient responses.
• Report Adverse Events to PI and sponsor.
• Manage and educate subjects on visit schedules, compliance, and diaries.
• Document and report any unanticipated problems following GCP.
• Schedule, coordinate, and prepare documents for monitoring visits; address findings.
• Collect, ship, and store specimens per requirements.
• Maintain regulatory documents and study binders.
• Train new team members on clinical research skills.
• Travel to other company sites as needed.
