Job summary

GAP SOLUTIONS INC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the NIH Rockville campus to support the Autoimmunity and Mucosal Immunology Branch under NIAID. The role focuses on coordinating clinical studies, ensuring patient safety, and managing regulatory documentation.

Responsibilities include recruitment support, informed consent oversight, data collection and reporting, and collaboration with physicians and coordinators to advance study protocols and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• MD, RN, PA, or NP credentials required or applicable licensure.
• Experience with clinical data management and regulatory requirements (IRB).
• Strong writing skills and ability to document study activities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clinicians, staff and investigators.

Responsibilities

• Participate in recruitment and outreach activities and contribute to recruitment strategies.
• Provide information about studies to physicians, advocacy groups, NIH offices and potential participants.
• Manage clinical and research support activities to ensure patient safety.
• Ensure informed consent process and human subjects protections.
• Collaborate with researchers and staff on consent and protocol documentation.
• Contribute to IRB and regulatory reporting and document management.
• Collect and report data to regulatory and monitoring agencies.
• Prepare status reports and quarterly/annual regulatory documents.
