Job summary

Suburban Community Medical Group is seeking a Medical Assistant for a temporary, day-shift position in a clinic setting. You will assist in patient care, transport patients, and support observer services as needed, while handling front-desk tasks to keep the clinic running smoothly.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, MA or CMA certification within 2 years, and 1–2 years in healthcare or general office work. BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant or a Registered Medical Assistant within 2 years of hire.
• 1-2 years in general or healthcare office preferred.
• Strong experience in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint preferred.
• Must exhibit a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and hospital or office experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Experienced caregiver with practical office training.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient care across nursing areas and transport patients by wheelchair or stretcher.
• Provide observer services for patients needing constant observation for safety.
• Perform general receptionist and clerical duties to facilitate clinic operations.
