Job summary

SOL Mental Health seeks a Therapy Supervisor to lead a team of licensed clinicians in the DC metro market. You will provide supervision to associate and licensed therapists, while managing a designated cohort and maintaining clinical practice.

You will implement policies, coordinate with the Practice Manager, and drive collaboration across clinicians and support staff to support patient care and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Active, independent LCSW license in VA.
• Board Certified Supervisor in VA is required.
• 3-5 years post graduate clinical experience.
• Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of communicating and implementing company policies, procedures, and initiatives to the therapy team.
• Partner with the Practice Manager to address day-to-day operational challenges affecting clinical care and patient experience.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between clinicians and support staff.
• Coordinate care transitions and referrals within the SOL system and with external providers.
• Maintain a reduced caseload to ensure time for leadership responsibilities while maintaining clinical skills.
• Provide coaching and support.
• Participate in the hiring process.
• Identify training needs for clinical team members.
• Lead case consultation sessions.
