Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. seeks a Clinical Therapist II to treat patients with multiple modalities as part of a multidisciplinary clinical treatment team.

You will provide psychosocial interventions that support patients and families across behavioral health, levels of care, hospitalization, disease and recovery. Weekend and holiday coverage may be required; two years post-licensure experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or Master's degree in Counseling, or a related field.
• Minimum of two years of post-licensure work experience in the same field.
• Ability to perform psychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Knowledge of crisis intervention theory, its application in a variety of settings, as well as knowledge of disease management and disease process and differential diagnoses, and treatment techniques.
• Ability to work as part of a team, while building collaborative relationships.
• Must possess excellent follow through and attention to detail.
• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• Professional Counselor License or NJ Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

Carrier Clinic Specific Certification:

Handle with Care certification, or completion required during new hire orientation.
