Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or Counseling.
  • 0-3 years of total work experience in Social Work or related fields.
  • Licensed or eligible to be licensed in NJ (LCSW/LPC) with supervision.
  • Ability to perform psychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans.
  • Knowledge of crisis intervention theory and its application in various settings.
  • Knowledge of disease management and differential diagnosis and treatment techniques.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and build collaborative relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
  • Associate Counselor License or NJ Licensed Social Worker or Marriage and Family Therapy, Associate Counselor.
  • CPI certification, or completion required during new hire orientation.
  • Handle with Care certification, or completion required during new hire orientation.

The Clinical Therapist I will work with a multidisciplinary treatment team to provide psychological, social, and interventions that support patients and families relating to behavioral/medical health, levels of care, disease and illness and wellness and recovery.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW), Master's degree in Counseling, or related fields.
  • 0-3 years of total work experience in Social Work or related fields.
  • Work under the supervision or guidance of a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with approved clinical supervision or ACS credential.
  • Ability to perform psychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans.
  • Knowledge of crisis intervention theory and its application in a variety of settings.
  • Knowledge of disease management and disease process and differential diagnosis and treatment techniques.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, while building collaborative relationships.
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
Licenses and Certifications Required:
  • Associate Counselor License or NJ Licensed Social Worker or Marriage and Family Therapy,Associate Counselor.
  • EPS Department Specific Certification:
    • Crisis Prevention & Intervention (CPI) certification, or completion required during new hire orientation.
  • Carrier Clinic Specific Certification:
    • Handle with Care certification, or completion required during new hire orientation.
