Job summary

Bluestone Children's Center in Livonia is seeking a Clinical Therapist to work on-site with children, adolescents and adults. The role focuses on assessments, individualized treatment planning and ongoing therapeutic interventions in a child-friendly setting.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, document progress, provide caregiver psychoeducation, and participate in case reviews to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care in a supportive preschool-like environment.

Qualifications

• Background in Social Work and Case Management, with ability to coordinate services and advocate for children and families.
• Training in Psychology and Mental Health, including experience with neurodevelopmental and behavioral conditions such as autism.
• Skills in Family Therapy, with a focus on supporting caregivers and strengthening family systems.
• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field; full licensure required (LMSW, LCSW, LPC, LLP)
• Experience working with children and families in clinical or school-based settings; prior ABA or autism-focused experience is an asset.
• Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice, cultural responsiveness, and maintaining ethical and professional standards of care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical assessments with children, adolescents and adults.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide ongoing therapeutic interventions in alignment with best practices.
• Facilitate individual and family sessions and coordinate care with other providers and staff.
• Monitor progress through regular documentation and evaluation.
• Collaborate with caregivers to build skills, offer psychoeducation, and participate in team meetings and case reviews.
