Job summary

Inova Fairfax Hospital – Womens in Falls Church, VA, is looking for a dedicated Clinical Technician to join the team and support patient care.

This full-time day shift (6:00 AM–6:30 PM) rotates with weekends and holidays; you will provide direct care to patients under RN supervision and communicate effectively with the care team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Proficient verbal and written communication in English.

Clinical Technician – Job Responsibilities

• To learn more about a day in the life of Clinical Technician,
• Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurses.

Training

• 6 Classroom-style sessions located in Falls Church VA: 8AM – 4:30PM
• 1 Virtual Orientation Day: 9AM – 4:30PM
• 1 Virtual EPIC Training: 8AM – 4:30PM

Training dates are pre-set and non-negotiable; recruitment team will share further information.

• Current Inova Clinical Technicians & rehires under 1 year are exempt from CTA.

Your first week will be a required Monday – Friday schedule – regardless of your positions normal schedule.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire
• Special Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs pounds
