Job summary

Inova Health is seeking a Clinical Technician 1 at Inova Fairfax Hospital - Oncology. This full-time night shift (6:00PM–6:30AM) includes rotating days, weekends and holidays and requires high school diploma and BLS certification within 90 days.

Duties include direct patient care under RN supervision and teamwork in a fast-paced oncology setting. Excellent communication, professionalism, and physical capability to lift 35 lbs are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Special Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift minimum of 35 lbs.

Training

Must be available for six (6) non-consecutive weeks of paid training, consisting of:

• Virtual orientations (Two from 8AM -4:30PM)
• Classroom-style sessions: 8AM - 4:30PM (6 shifts total)
• Virtual training modules.
• On-unit shifts
