Job summary

Henry Ford Jackson Hospital in Jackson, MI is seeking a Clinical Tech to support the Emergency Care department. You will take vitals, assist with procedures, and help ensure patient comfort under RN supervision.

This role offers exposure to a Level II Trauma Designation environment, with opportunities for specialty training and certifications. A high school diploma and basic healthcare training are required, with BLS certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Nursing student or RN program completion acceptable.
• LPN/EMT/Paramedic/MA program graduate preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collecting and recording vital signs and data with accuracy.
• Responding to patient needs and supporting RNs to ensure safety and comfort.
• Notice and report patient condition changes promptly.
• Assist with mobility, ambulation, and positioning.
• Support oxygen devices under RN direction and assist with post‑pacemaker care.
• Perform phlebotomy and IV access procedures with care and documentation.
• Assist with daily activities such as dressing, meals, and hygiene.
• Provide culturally sensitive care across pediatrics to geriatrics.
