Job summary

Legacy Treatment Services seeks a licensed therapist to join our residential treatment team in New Jersey. The role focuses on creating a safe, strengths-based milieu and supervising therapeutic activities with youth and families.

You will provide individual, family and group therapy in alignment with individualized treatment plans, collaborate with the treatment team, and support program compliance with agency standards and contracts.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or counseling required.
• Current licensure (LSW/LAC or LCSW/LPC) required.
• Full-time, 40 hours per week with benefits.

Responsibilities

• Design and supervise a safe, therapeutic milieu in a residential program.
• Provide individual, family and group therapy per treatment plan.
• Coordinate with the treatment team to monitor resident progress and ensure compliance with contracts.

Job description

The Therapist designs and supervises a safe environment and positive residential treatment program. Establishes and maintains a positive, strengths-based, developmentally appropriate therapeutic milieu that is in keeping with the values and clinical treatment philosophy of the Agency. Meets all administrative, legal and program requirements as mandated by all operating contracts including, but not limited to DCPP and COA. Oversees and coordinates all aspects of a resident's treatment program along and provides individual, family and group therapy in accordance with the treatment plan in concert with the other treatment team members.This is a 40 Hour Full Time Benefited position which includes:Flexible work hoursSupervision providedCEUs provided and paid for.
