Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv (Required)
• BLS CPR Certification (Required)
• M.A./CMA/CMAC/NCMA/CCMA/NRCMA/LPN certifications (Required) or equivalent license (Required)

Responsibilities

• Creates an inclusive, supportive, and respectful environment for the organization.
• Selects, trains, orients, and supervises departmental personnel.
• Coordinates work assignments and daily operations.
• Keeps physicians and managers informed of problems or concerns.
• Cooperates with clinical team to coordinate workflow between departments.
• Ensures development and implementation of job descriptions, personnel policies, and payroll practices.
• Assists in evaluating performance and recommends merit increases, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
• Participates in Performance Development Process.
• Improves clinic scores on patient and employee satisfaction surveys.
• Works with medical staff to ensure quality patient care and services.
• Conducts regular meetings with the clinical team and provider meetings.
• Collaborates with physicians on nursing interventions.
