Job summary

The role supports patient care under physician direction within regulatory standards.

The position emphasizes coordinating care, improving quality, and training staff across the department; flexibility to work evenings or weekends and to float to other clinics may be required.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of clinical experience is required.
• Demonstrates ability to maintain good communications; ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with employees, physicians, patients, families, and the public
• Working knowledge of ICD9/10 and CPT coding and insurance procedures
• Occasional evenings/weekends and ability to float to other clinic practices as needed

Responsibilities

• Acts as on-site clinical coordinator guiding the care team to ensure quality of care and patient satisfaction.
• Completes quality reviews and monitors for process improvements.
• Participates in department education and EMR-related training.
• Maintains knowledge of processes and systems; represents department in meetings as needed.
• Interacts with staff levels to resolve issues and protect financial integrity.
