Job summary

Universal Health Services (UHS) seeks an Information Services Support Technician at Palmdale Regional Medical Center to support the Cerner Millennium application and coordinate user training during go-live. You will liaise between nursing, departments, physicians and the IS team to resolve issues and improve workflows.

Responsibilities include QA on new screens, problem tracking, and helping users develop reports, with emphasis on accuracy, security, and proactive service delivery within a

Qualifications

High School Graduate or equivalent required.
General education level required and Associates degree preferred.
Written and verbal communications, interpersonal skills.
Basic organizational and computer skills.

Responsibilities

Assumes full responsibility for facility-related tasks during clinical systems implementation.
Coordinates training of users in preparation for go live.
Performs QA on all new clinical screens and pathways developed.
Acts as IS liaison to nursing, other user departments, and physicians.
Opens and tracks local helpdesk tickets as needed.
Ensures accuracy and completeness of work.
