Job summary

NYC Health + Hospitals is seeking a Clinical Business Analyst to lead the assessment, design and implementation of system-wide clinical information systems. You will collect and transform large data into actionable business requirements and work with users and IT leaders to optimize project scope and outcomes.

The role requires documenting requirements, coordinating with project managers and developers, guiding testing and deployment, and providing training and support to end users.

Qualifications

• Masters degree or advanced clinical degree; or a Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of relevant experience.
• 1 year of experience gathering and documenting business, clinical, and/or functional requirements for software applications in clinical/health IT or related area.
• Specialty certifications may be credited toward the required work experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess, design, develop and implement system-wide clinical information systems.
• Translate information into clear business requirements and documentation.
• Collaborate with business users, project managers, programmers, consultants and IT leadership.
• Coordinate requirements documentation and manage stakeholder expectations across projects.
• Plan, lead meetings and follow-up activities; support testing and deployments.
