Responsibilities

• Provides quality clinical supervision and work direction to direct reports, delivering discipline‑specific treatment for children with developmental delays, disabilities, and autism spectrum disorders (ASD).
• Oversees all components of the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs of the caseload, ensuring high quality and the use of best‑practice guidelines.
• Facilitates behavior programs based on the principles of ABA, conducts behavior assessments, and functions as an Assessor when needed.
• Provides parent education, develops and delivers specific intervention activities, and acts as a liaison between the organization, families, community, therapists, and health care providers.
• Conducts evaluations, case‑management reviews, quality assurance reviews, and audits as assigned by the Regional Clinical Director.
• Meets productivity requirements set forth in the annual budget.
• Leads and/or attends staff meetings.
• Prepares and provides specialized training and instructional materials, including staff development training as required by the Regional Clinical Director.
• Ensures associate responsibilities, authorities, and accountabilities are clearly defined and understood.
• Manages and evaluates the performance and productivity of associates in the assigned region.
• Provides training and onboarding for new associates; offers ongoing training to Program Managers and Behavior Interventionists; and provides specialized training to associates preparing for certifications.
• Collaborates with the Regional Clinical Director and Human Resources in the recruitment and selection of new program associates.
• Oversees associates involved in the recruitment and selection process as needed.
• Attends conferences and trainings to stay current on new research, trends, and developments in autism, special education, and related fields.
• Acts as liaison between the organization, families, and community agencies—including regional centers, school programs, therapists, and health care providers—to address questions and concerns that arise.
• Travels as required; up to 50% local travel may be needed.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

• Master’s degree in ABA or a related field.
• Board‑Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification, continuously maintained.
• Current CPR certification.
• 2–3 years of professional experience working with children with ASD in a multidisciplinary team setting.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Expert knowledge of scientifically validated methodologies and behavioral analytic approaches that benefit children with ASD; familiarity with current related research findings.
• Proficiency in intervention approaches based on the science of Applied Behavior Analysis.
• Competent in employing and directing behavior analytic methodologies—including Pivotal Response Training (PRT), Natural Environment Teaching (NET), Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), Behavior Skills Training (BST), and Experimental Functional Analysis (EFA).
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
• Ability to interpret and implement policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Consistent demonstration of good judgment and decision‑making skills.
• Customer‑service orientation and professionalism in all interactions.
• Effective oral and written communication skills, and ability to work cooperatively with a variety of individuals and groups.
• Ability to relate well to children and their families and maintain a positive affect.
• Discretion, good judgment, and high confidentiality in handling sensitive information and documentation.
• Ability to pass a post‑offer physical examination and a TB test; ability to provide proof of required vaccinations or a positive titer showing immunity; a signed declination may be acceptable for certain vaccinations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a criminal record/fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation per ESSC and/or program requirements.

Travel & Physical Requirements

Up to 50% local travel may be required. Maintain a driving record in compliance with Transportation Safety Standards; maintain auto insurance and vehicle registration. Occasional standing, sitting, walking, and repetitive motion are part of the job. Exposure to occasional unpleasant or hazardous conditions (noise, heat, dust, bodily fluids, etc.) may occur.
