Job description

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Provide quality clinical supervision and work direction to direct reports under direct supervision.
• Deliver discipline‑specific treatment for children with developmental delays, disabilities, and autism spectrum disorders (ASD).
• Oversee all components of the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs for caseload and ensure high quality and best‑practice guidelines.
• Facilitate behavior programs using ABA principles, conduct behavior assessments, and serve as an Assessor when required.
• Provide parent education, develop and deliver specific intervention activities, and act as liaison between the organization, families, and community professionals.
• Conduct evaluations, case‑management reviews, quality assurance reviews, and audits as assigned by the Regional Clinical Director.
• Meet productivity requirements set forth in the annual budget.
• Lead and/or attend staff meetings and prepare specialized training and instructional materials.
• Define and communicate associate responsibilities, authorities, and accountabilities.
• Manage and evaluate the performance and productivity of associates in assigned region.
• Provide training and onboarding for new associates, and ongoing training for Program Managers and Behavior Interventionists.
• Assist in recruitment/selection processes for new program associates and oversee associates involved as needed.
• Attend conferences and trainings to stay current on research, trends, and developments in autism, special education, and related fields.
• Travel locally as required (up to 50% of work time). Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

• Master’s degree in ABA or a related field.
• 2–3 years of professional experience working with children with ASD within a multi‑disciplinary team setting.

Certifications & Requirements

• Board‑Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification – current and maintained.
• Current CPR certification.
• Pass post‑offer physical examination and TB test.
• Provide proof of required vaccinations or a positive titer; a signed declination may be acceptable for certain vaccinations.
• Maintain a valid criminal record/fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation as required by ESSC and/or program guidelines.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Expert knowledge of scientifically validated methodologies and behavioral analytic approaches for children with ASD.
• Proficiency with Pivotal Response Training (PRT), Natural Environment Teaching (NET), Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), Behavior Skills Training (BST), and Experimental Functional Analysis (EFA).
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
• Ability to interpret and implement policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Strong judgment, decision‑making, and customer‑service orientation.
• Effective oral and written communication; cooperative teamwork with diverse individuals and groups.
• Positive affect and ability to relate well to children and their families.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive documentation with discretion.
