Position Overview

Under direct supervision, you will provide quality clinical supervision and work direction to direct reports, ensuring discipline‑specific treatment for children with developmental delays, disabilities, and autism spectrum disorders (ASD). You will oversee all components of the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs for your caseload, ensuring high quality and the use of best‑practice guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate behavior programs based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and conduct behavior assessments.
• Act as an Assessor when required.
• Provide parent education, develop and deliver specific intervention activities, and serve as a liaison among the organization, families, community, therapists, and health care providers.
• Conduct evaluations, case‑management reviews, quality assurance reviews, and audits as assigned by the Regional Clinical Director.
• Meet productivity requirements set forth in the annual budget.
• Lead and/or attend staff meetings.
• Prepare and provide specialized training and instructional materials, including staff development training, as assigned.
• Define and communicate associate responsibilities, authorities, and accountabilities.
• Manage and evaluate the performance and productivity of associates in the assigned region.
• Provide training and onboarding for new associates; ongoing training to Program Managers and Behavior Interventionists; and specialized training to associates preparing for various certifications.
• Collaborate with the Regional Clinical Director and Human Resources during the recruitment/selection of new program associates and oversee associates involved in that process.
• Attend conferences and trainings to stay current on research, trends, and developments in autism, special education, and related fields.
• Travel as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Certifications

• Master's degree in ABA or a related field.
• Board‑Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
• Current CPR certification.

Experience

2–3 years of professional experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) in a multidisciplinary team setting.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Expert knowledge of scientifically validated methodologies and behavioral analytic approaches that benefit children with ASD; familiarity with current research findings.
• Proficiency in intervention approaches based on the science of ABA, including Pivotal Response Training (PRT), Natural Environment Teaching (NET), Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), Behavior Skills Training (BST), and Experimental Functional Analysis (EFA).
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
• Ability to interpret and implement policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Strong judgment and decision‑making skills.
• Excellent customer service orientation and professionalism in all interactions.
• Effective oral and written communication skills and ability to work cooperatively with a variety of individuals and groups.
• Ability to relate well to children and their families and maintain a positive affect.
• Capacity to exercise discretion, demonstrate good judgment, and maintain confidentiality in sensitive situations and documentation.
• Pass a post‑offer physical examination and a TB test.
• Provide proof of required vaccinations or a positive titer indicating immunity; a signed declination may be acceptable for certain vaccinations.
• Maintain a criminal record/fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation as required by Easterseals Southern California and/or program requirements.

Physical Requirements & Travel

• Occasional standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motion/activity.
• Visual acuity: required.
• Up to 50% local travel; maintain a valid driving record, compliance with Transportation Safety Standards, and auto insurance and vehicle registration.
• Occasional exposure to unpleasant or hazardous working conditions (noise, heat, dust, bodily fluids, etc.).
