Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Training to gain clinical experience before placement in ambulatory care.
• Ability to perform basic rooming and vitals.

Responsibilities

• Rooming, medication refills, basic patient care tasks.
• Care Connect EMR documentation.
• Administrative duties to ensure information is current.
• Pend medical orders and medication refills.
• Record vitals and rooming.
• Perform EKG as necessary.
• Document telephone encounters.
• Communicate with health‑care team to ensure continuity and quality of care.
• Maintain and clean environment, equipment and report malfunctions.
• Order and stock supplies.
• Provide transport assistance to patients.
• Maintain office logs and rounding summaries.
