Job summary

UNC Rex Holly Springs Hospital, part of UNC Health Care, is seeking a Nursing Assistant I for the 7BT Med Surg Nursing HS unit in Holly Springs, NC. The position is full-time (36 hours/week) with a day shift, onsite work, and a competitive hourly wage.

Responsibilities include patient care support, transport, clerical duties, and assisting in care delivery. Requires a high school diploma and NC Nursing Assistant I certification with BLS. English fluency is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Nursing Assistant I certification as per NC DHHS.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and other healthcare providers with routine examinations and procedures.
• Transport patients and/or equipment and maintain patient rooms.
• Perform clerical tasks including transcription, data entry and managing medical records.
• Provide direct personal care to patients as outlined in the plan of care.
• Measure and record vital signs and basic anthropometrics; assist with activities of daily living.
