Job summary

Affinity Health Center in Rock Hill, SC is seeking a Medical Records Specialist to ensure accurate, complete patient records and secure handling of referrals. You will scan, organize, and manage records while supporting continuity of care for our community.

Strong attention to detail and privacy compliance are essential. Experience with EMR systems and medical terminology is preferred; bilingual skills are a plus.

• Help ensure continuity of care by making records available to providers and outside partners as needed.
• Process medical record requests while following all privacy rules.
• Communicate clearly with staff, patients, and referral partners.
• Track and manage records to meet deadlines and support care coordination.
• Protect patient confidentiality at all times in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.

What You'll Do

Pay Range: $17.00-$21.00 hourly (confirm with Heather)

Position Requirements

Basic knowledge of medical terminology
