Family Health Center in Worcester, MA is seeking a Clinical Support Aide for a regular full-time, on-site role. You will coordinate and triage calls and patient requests, provide clerical support, and assist with forms and paperwork for patients and staff.

The role requires at least two years in a medical or human service setting, EMR proficiency, and bilingual abilities. Primary duties include scheduling, triage, and basic clinical tasks as needed.

Competenze

• Education: Certificate Nurse Aide or two to four years college, post-high school training.
• Experience: minimum two years in medical or human services environment; EMR skills.
• Bilingual in English and another language appropriate to FHCW patient population.

Mansioni

• Answer and triage calls politely, identify self by name, position and team.
• Determine if calls are patient or administrative; route appropriately.
• Retrieve reports, dictation, or correspondence for patient visits.
• Check encounter forms for procedure type and diagnosis, reconcile with day sheets.
• Schedule patient appointments for labs, follow-ups, and same-day visits.
• Cross-train with MAs to follow up on non-attendance and assist triage RN.
• Open, triage, and sort mail as directed by Team Leader Nurse.
• Occasionally perform minor clinical tasks such as weighing, measuring, vital signs, Snellen exams.
