Job summary

Responsibilities include greeting patients, collecting insurance information, taking vital signs, and assisting with specimen handling as directed. A fast-paced team environment and strong attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Excellent administrative, communication, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Ability to work cooperatively in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
• Excellent customer service and task-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining a safe, survey-ready healthcare environment.
• Greet customers or potential patients at front area.
• Clean and organize clinic space daily; disinfect equipment and rooms.
• Handle registration and scheduling; verify identity and prepare patient records in EHR.
• Manage patient flow using queue, appointment, and kiosk systems; collect payments and insurance information.
• Take vital signs and patient history, entering data into EHR.
• Provide guidance to waiting patients on registration, wait times, and services.
• Answer phones and handle patient/provider calls; perform daily callbacks as required.
• Support off-site events and assist with sample collection when needed.
