Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a Clerk to provide clerical support to the clinical team in Cincinnati. The role assists with daily patient care tasks, maintains medical records, and ensures smooth information flow between patients, staff, physicians, and departments.

Qualifications

• Experience with clerical tasks in a clinical setting (data entry, chart maintenance).
• Ability to maintain medical records and manage admission/discharge documents.
• Strong communication skills with patients, staff, and physicians in a hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff as a receptionist.
• Answer patient call lights promptly and courteously.
• Maintain admit/discharge logs and ensure timely patient admission, transfer, and discharge.
• Enter transport requests into EPIC Bed Management and obtain required signatures.
• Copy and retrieve medical records, keep charts organized, and prepare charts for new patients.
• Communicate with physician offices about patient consultations and records.
