Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Under RN supervision, monitors patient health status and implements the plan of care.
• Takes/records blood pressures, temperatures, pulse, and weight; performs blood glucose monitoring.
• Sets up and discontinues telemetry monitoring; collects specimens as directed.
• Applies sterile dressings, removal of sutures/staples/drains; performs sterile procedures as assigned.
• Performs stomal irrigation and colostomy care; oral suctioning; takes emergency action as needed.
• Assists with admission, discharge, and transfer processes; transports patients as needed.
• Keeps patient rooms clean and orderly; beds made; replaces soiled linen; restocks supplies.
