Job summary

OU Health is seeking a CSA - Clinical Support Assistant for the Comprehensive Care Unit. Under RN supervision, you will monitor patients, collect vital signs, assist with care plans, and support admissions, discharges, and transfers. Must have a HS Diploma or GED and Basic Life Support upon hire.

No prior experience is required; training will cover routine nursing tasks and patient safety in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Under RN supervision, monitor health status and assist with the care plan.
• Carry out physician and nursing orders within scope.
• Record vital signs and collect specimens as directed.
• Perform sterile procedures and assist with dressings and drain care.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Transport patients between treatment areas as needed.
