Job summary

Transitions Counseling and Consulting in Arizona seeks a licensed clinical supervisor (LPC/LMFT/LCSW) to mentor therapists, oversee clinical practice, and ensure compliance across a growing team. You will supervise and train staff, provide direct therapy, coordinate care, and partner with leadership to advance professional growth, while ensuring high-quality care for children, teens, and adults.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field.
• Must be licensed by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners on an independent level (LPC/LMFT/LCSW).
• 1 year of supervision experience preferred but not required.
• Arizona Supervisor Training preferred; if not complete, training should be completed within 30 days (sponsored).
• Provide current fingerprint clearance card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety and renew as applicable.
• Continuously maintain CPR and first aid certification.
• No suspension/exclusion/debarment from participation in federal health care programs.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise and mentor therapists, interns, and clinical support staff.
• Address personnel issues and participate in clinical interviewing and hiring processes; manage staff training and compliance needs.
• Address patient concerns promptly and ensure quality of care remains high.
• Participate in rotating phone-based call schedule during hours of service; no overnight hours are required.
• Provide direct client therapy through evidence-based treatment according to an agreed-upon schedule, ensuring personalized and effective care.
• Work closely with other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes and coordinate care for comprehensive treatment plans.
