Job summary

Transitions Counseling and Consulting in Arizona seeks a licensed clinical supervisor (LPC, LMFT, or LCSW) to inspire and develop a high-performing clinical and administrative team. The role involves mentoring therapists, managing supervision policies, and fostering a collaborative care environment.

You will coordinate care, participate in a rotating on-call schedule (no overnights), and deliver evidence-based therapy while supporting staff development and compliance.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work or related field.
• Must be licensed by the Arizona Board for Independent practice as LPC, LMFT or LCSW.
• At least 1 year of clinical supervision experience preferred.
• Arizona Supervisor Training preferred; if not complete, training within 30 days of hire (sponsored).
• Provide current fingerprint clearance card issued by AZ DPS and renew as applicable.
• Maintain CPR and First Aid certification.
• No suspensions/debarment from federal health care programs.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise and mentor therapists, interns, and clinical support staff, adhering to supervision policies and hours.
• Address patient concerns and ensure high quality care; participate in rotating call schedule without overnight hours.
• Provide direct client therapy per agreed schedule with evidence-based treatments.

Your Role

• Mentorship and Supervision:
  • Directly supervise and mentor therapists, interns, and clinical support staff. This includes adhering to and tracking supervision policies, hours, and files to ensure compliance and development.
  • Address personnel issues, participate in the clinical interviewing and hiring process, and manage staff training and compliance needs.
• Client and Team Support:
  • Address patient concerns promptly and ensure the quality of care remains at the highest standard.
  • Participate in a rotating phone-based call schedule during hours-of-service delivery, along with other supervisory staff members—note that no overnight hours are required.
  • Provide direct client therapy through evidence-based treatment according to an agreed-upon schedule, ensuring that each client receives personalized and effective care.
• Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with other professionals, including therapists, interns, and clinical support staff, to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
  • Coordinate care with other professionals to support comprehensive treatment plans and positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field.
• Must be licensed by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners on an independent level as an LPC, LMFT or LCSW.
• One (1) year of clinical supervision experience in the behavioral health field preferred but not required.
• Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners Supervisor Training preferred but not required. If Arizona Supervisor training is not complete at the time of hire, training should be completed within 30 days of start date (sponsored by our team).
• Provide current level one fingerprint clearance card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety and renew as applicable.
• Continuously maintain active Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and first aid certification.
• No suspension/exclusion/debarment from participation in federal health care programs.
