RVCC is looking to hire a Clinical Supervisor for our School Based Program!

River Valley Counseling Center, Inc's Mission is to improve the health of all people in our community through expert and compassionate care, education, community partnerships, fostering innovation, and by inspiring hope in all we touch.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Support all aspects of RVCC’s Mission statement & clientele.
2. Oversee clinical evaluations of clients of all ages and families.
3. Provide direct care to clients and families.
4. Summarize findings and treatment plans in accordance with RVCC procedures and present to multidisciplinary case disposition team.
5. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
6. Oversee necessary outreach, advocacy, or case consultation to meet client needs.
7. Prepare for and conduct regular supervision.
8. Monitor staff performance to ensure adherence to RVCC and Clinic policies and procedures.
9. Mediation of staff complaints and grievances, referring to Human Resources as appropriate.
10. Participate actively in research, quality assurance, or program development and monitoring.
11. Ensure accurate and prompt documentation in client records and timely completion of client referral forms.
12. Provide crisis care as necessary.
13. Attend and conduct regular staff meetings.
14. Ensure timely completion of staff evaluations.

Job Requirements:

1. Education Level: Master’s degree with a concentration in human services, counseling, clinical psychology, or social work.
2. Years of Experience: Three years as a therapist with at least one year in a supervisory capacity; strong background in family interventions, including chemical dependencies.
3. Skills/Abilities: Bilingual (Spanish/English) ability desirable. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal skills; crisis intervention skills; organizational skills; attention to detail; computer skills; good customer relations skills; knowledge of legal and ethical issues pertaining to the profession.
4. Licensing: Current Massachusetts license as an LMHC or LICSW.
