Job summary

Bristol Hospice, based in Eugene, OR, is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to ensure high-quality hospice care and supervise clinical staff across Eugene/Springfield and surrounding areas.

You will review cases, assign personnel, collaborate with the Medical Director, and guide clinicians to improve patient outcomes, while supporting ongoing education and policy implementation in a patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• A Registered Nurse license in good standing to practice professional nursing in the state.
• Hospice home care setting experience with two years of management or supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated empathy for patients and families.
• Excellent observation, verbal, and written communication skills.
• A valid driver’s license
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Receive case referrals and review patient information to determine hospice/home care needs.
• Assign appropriate hospice personnel to referral case as needed.
• Confer with Medical Director and Attending Physician regarding eligibility for services.
• Conduct clinical record reviews and communicate findings and recommendations to the Clinical Director and hospice personnel.
• Assist in screening and interviewing process of new employees and make recommendations for employment.
• Assist in orientation of new employees and in planning education programs.
• Help formulate, revise, implement and evaluate organization policies and procedures.
