Job summary

Bristol Hospice is seeking an experienced Clinical Supervisor to oversee nursing staff and ensure high-quality hospice home care services in Illinois. You will collaborate with the Medical Director, review cases, and guide clinical teams toward compassionate, compliant care.

The role requires an active RN license, strong supervisory experience, and a patient-centered approach to end-of-life care in the hospice setting.

Qualifications

• Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to supervise clinical personnel and coordinate care.
• Strong understanding of hospice philosophy and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Receive referrals and review patient information to determine hospice/home care needs.
• Assign appropriate hospice personnel to referrals.
• Consult with Medical Director and Attending Physician on eligibility for services.
• Review cases with home visits, records, and clinical reports to ensure quality care.
• Guide clinicians to improve performance and service delivery.
• Be available during operating hours to support clinicians as needed.
• Conduct clinical record reviews and report findings to the Clinical Director.
• Assist in interviewing and orientation of new staff; contribute to education programs.
• Support policy development and performance improvement activities.
