This Med Tele, Clinical Supervisor, Registered Nurse position is full-time, offers full benefits, and a night shift schedule. It combines clinical and managerial duties, including direct and indirect patient care, disciplinary actions, and staff hiring and termination. Effective communication with physicians, Nurse Manager, and co-workers about patient conditions and diagnostic results is essential. The role requires quick, accurate responses to changes in patient condition or treatment responses.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect patient care, assessing current situations, priorities, and needs.
• Perform all aspects of patient care in an environment that maximizes safety and minimizes errors.
• Communicate clearly and appropriately with Nurse Director, co-workers, and physicians.
• Assist with staff education, competency evaluation, and maintain related documentation. Promote staff participation in in-service programs.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Current NV State Registered Nurse Licensure
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required or enrolled in an accredited program within one year of employment or transfer into supervisory role
• Experience in Telemetry required
• Cerner experience preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required or must obtain within 6 months
• PALS certification may be required for specific departments or must be obtained within six months
• Specialty certification preferred
