Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to provide coverage and support to the clinical team under the direction of the practice manager and physicians. You will coordinate patient care across office, hospital, and referrals, and serve as a liaison between providers and administration.

The role requires at least two years in a physician office, an associate degree or equivalent, and RN licensure in New Jersey.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in a physician office.
• Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Good communicator, problem solver, flexible, organized, positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical team with assisting the physician to coordinate patient care in the office, hospital, referrals to physicians, and ancillary facilities.
• Assist Practice Manager as liaison between administrators, providers, and team members.
• Monitor team members and self to ensure information is provided and HIPAA guidelines followed.
• Set up examination rooms and ensure materials and equipment are supplied.
• Ensure safe and efficient clinical duties and high-quality service.
• Ensure compliance with CLIA, OSHA and regulatory standards.
• Refer to POL Policy Manual; handle medical waste, syringes, and needles properly.
• Maintain safe clinical environment and report hazards to practice manager.
• Lead by example to greet and communicate with patients, families, visitors, vendors, and physicians.
• Assist with accounts payable, deposits, physician performance, and monthly reports; provide feedback to improve efficiencies.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
