Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Baton Rouge is hiring a Clinical Supervisor to support and assist the Clinical Director, oversee daily operations of the clinical program, and maintain a warm recovery environment.

You will supervise group activities, manage client caseload, ensure documentation compliance, and provide Utilization Review support to drive authorization and retention. Qualified candidates have 3 years' experience with chemical dependency and current licensure (LCSW, LPC, etc.).

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience with chemical dependency or dual diagnosis.
• Current licensure to practice in Louisiana (LCSW, LPC, etc.).
• Strong organizational and time-management skills and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Support and assist Clinical Director in all relevant duties.
• Oversee daily execution of the clinical program.
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm recovery environment.
• Facilitate group sessions occasionally and manage small client caseloads.
• Ensure impeccable client documentation and compliance.
• Provide Utilization Review support to drive authorization and retention.

What You'll Do

• Support and assist Clinical Director as necessary in all relevant duties
• Manage the daily execution of all aspects of the Avenues clinical program
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and encouraging recovery environment
• Facilitate group occasionally and maintain small client caseload
• Provide consistent compliance oversight to ensure impeccable client documentation
• Provide Utilization Review support to drive authorization and retention throughout treatment

What We're Looking For

• 3 years' experience working with chemical dependency or dual diagnosed clients
• Current licensure necessary to practice in this state for this role (LCSW, LPC, etc.)
• Efficient and driven, with strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent interpersonal, observational, and communication skills
• Positive, warm, and dignified character which models recovery principles
