A leading healthcare facility in Duluth seeks a Clinical Supervisor for the Intermediate Care Unit. This role involves coordinating patient care, ensuring clinical leadership, and collaborating with staff to enhance patient safety and performance. The Clinical Supervisor, under the direction of the Nurse Manager, coordinates patient care activities and ensures the nursing process is carried out on all shifts (24/7) by demonstrating professional and clinical leadership. The role involves collaborating with unit staff and Nursing Management to develop and implement unit goals, improve financial performance, enhance patient safety, and support performance improvement activities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Refer to Licensure/Certification/Registration requirements.
Experience: At least two (2) years of recent relevant clinical experience with verifiable clinical competence.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current Minnesota RN license; ACLS certification upon hire (must remain current); TNCC within one year of hire if not previously completed; BLS from AHA, ARC, or Military Training Network; additional specialty certifications (e.g., CCRN, PCCN) within two years if eligible.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing or related field.

Proficient in assessment, growth, development, and stroke-specific care, including assessments, interventions, and compliance with educational requirements.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND ENVIRONMENT
Ability to change positions frequently, lift up to 35 pounds, and perform various physical activities; continuous standing, walking, and use of hands; exposure to moderate noise and potential biological hazards; irregular hours may be required.
