Job summary

Southcentral Foundation (SCF) is seeking a Supervisor of Clinical Associate I/II in Alaska. The role focuses on supervision, performance development, and integrated care delivery for Clinical Associates and Mental Health Workers.

The position supports culturally-appropriate direct care and skill-building activities, with two levels of increasing responsibility. A valid Alaska driver's license and SCF driving record compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Education, Rehabilitation, Social Work, or related field; or equivalent years of work experience; or combination of education and experience in Counseling, Psychology, Social Sciences, or related field.
• Three years of experience in a therapeutic residential, addictions, and/or behavioral health outpatient setting; or demonstrated proficiency as a Clinical Associate II at SCF.
• Valid Alaska driver’s license meeting DMV requirements; may drive in Alaska for up to 90 days with out-of-state license, then obtain Alaska license; CDL within 30 days of residency.
• No more than three moving traffic violations in the past three years; or two at-fault accidents in the past ten years.
• No DUI/DWI/OUI violations in past five years; no more than two in ten years.
• Drivers must be at least 18; 21+ to transport customers; complete probationary license requirements as needed.
• Before hire, provide driving record copy not older than 60 days.

Responsibilities

• supervise the Clinical Associate, Mental Health Worker, and/or other employees as assigned; work as part of an integrated care team to provide quality therapeutic and educational activities.
• guide and coordinate the work of assigned employees toward program goals and objectives; may provide Clinical Associate services within the program when needed.
• progression between levels is based on demonstrated ability to handle more responsibility.
