Job summary

Encompass Community Supports, a Virginia State community services organization, seeks a Clinical Supervisor to oversee forensic services and supervise program personnel. The full-time position supports 37.5 hours weekly and reports to the Clinical Director.

Qualified candidates hold a Master’s in Human Services, licensure (LPC/LCSW/LMFT/LSATP) and supervisory experience; Crisis Intervention Specialist certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Human Services or related field.
• Current professional licensure as LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or LSATP required.
• Certification as Crisis Intervention Specialist (Prescreener) by DBHDS preferred.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains administrative and clinical files and reports, documenting to meet clinical auditing standards.
• Participates in clinical, administrative and supervisory meetings; collaborates with other staff members concerning cases.
• Ensures relevant staff are following all relevant procedures and protocols.
• Provides clinical oversight for varied behavioral health programs.
• Collaborate with community stakeholders, other treatment team members, referral sources, and other community resources with client consent.
• Provides day-to-day clinical supervision of all program staff.
• Provides orientation, regular and ongoing training and direction to staff on program and agency operations, policy and procedures.
• Covers other management duties in the absence of Clinical Director or other Clinical Supervisors.
• Provides supervision for student interns and licensing clinical supervision to clinicians eligible for licensing.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
