Job summary

EMS of Virginia seeks a Clinical Specialist for Community Based Services. Based in North Chesterfield, VA, the role supervises QMHP Clinicians and supports outpatient, home, and community-based mental health and substance abuse services, with some telework options.

The incumbent will oversee case assignments, ensure billing hours, manage service authorizations, and lead staff development while ensuring compliance with applicable rules and policies.

Qualifications

• Licensed or license-eligible as an LPC or LCSW to provide clinical services in VA.
• Experience providing mental health and substance abuse services.
• Experience with staff supervision, program compliance, and program development.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of QMHP Clinicians and other staff.
• Assign cases and maintain client care records.
• Ensure billable hours are documented for supervisees.
• Process service authorization requests.
• Hire, train and supervise staff; provide weekly supervision.
