Job summary

EMS of Virginia in the Richmond area is seeking a bilingual QMHP to deliver Intensive In-home and Mental Health Skill Building Services across the greater Richmond area (including the city of Richmond, Henrico, Chesterfield, Petersburg, Hanover, and surrounding areas).

You will provide 1:1 counseling, skill-building for adults with serious mental illness, case management, and link clients with community resources.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required for client interaction and documentation.
• QMHP-eligible or licensed (LCSW/LPC) with supervision toward licensure preferred.
• Experience with in-home/community-based mental health services a plus.
• Ability to work with adults and children in home settings and community environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide Intensive In-home and Mental Health Skill Building Services.
• Conduct 1:1 mental health counseling and skill-building in community settings.
• Assist with case management to meet basic needs and link to resources.
• Coordinate transportation and appointments for clients as needed.
• Complete individualized services plans and quarterly progress reports.
• Attend supervision and team meetings to ensure quality care.

EMS of Virginiais seeking a Bilingual (English/Spanish) Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to provide Intensive In-home and Mental Health Skill Building Services in the greater Richmond area (city of Richmond, Henrico, Chesterfield, Petersburg, Hanover, and surrounding areas). Duties include (but are not limited to):

• Seeing clients in the community such as the client's home
• Providing 1-1 mental health counseling related to goals
• Providing skill building to adults with serious mental illness
• Taking adult clients to appointments
• Taking adult clients to link with resources in the community
• Case Management to ensure client's basic needs are met
• Providing individual and family counseling to children and adolescents
• Completing individualized services plans
• Completing quarterly reports
• Completing progress notes for each session with a client
• Providing information for authorization of services
• Meeting regularly for supervision
• Attendance at team meetings
