EMS of Virginia is seeking a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to provide Intensive In-home and Mental Health Skill Building Services in the greater Richmond area. The role involves community visits, individual and family counseling, and coordination with resources to support adults and youths with serious mental illness.

Qualifications

• QMHP registered with the Board of Counseling.
• Experience delivering intensive in-home and skill-building mental health services.
• Ability to work in the greater Richmond area including Richmond, Henrico, Chesterfield, Petersburg, Hanover, and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• See clients in the community, including the client’s home.
• Provide 1-1 mental health counseling related to goals.
• Provide skill building to adults with serious mental illness.
• Transport clients to appointments and link with community resources.
• Perform case management to meet basic needs.
• Provide individual and family counseling to children and adolescents.
• Complete individualized services plans and quarterly reports.
• Document progress notes for each session and assist with service authorizations.
• Attend supervision and team meetings regularly.
