The County of Santa Barbara's Behavioral Wellness Department is seeking a Clinical Supervisor (Practitioner II) to oversee supervision of trainees and associate clinicians. The role supports high-quality clinical development, adheres to regulatory standards, and involves travel to multiple county offices and partner agencies.

Ideal candidates will have strong English/Spanish communication, experience with EHRs and evidence-based practices, and the ability to provide constructive feedback.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.
• Experience with multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with electronic health records.
• Strong licensing, certification and registration knowledge.
• Experience with evidence-based practices, assessment and clinical documentation.
• Ability to give constructive feedback and support clinician growth.
• Ability to read, write and converse in English and Spanish.
• Experience in a psychiatric facility or community mental health program.

Responsabilités

• Provide clinical supervision to trainees and associates.
• Collaborate with Training Manager on onboarding and competency-based training.
• Serve as point of contact with state licensing/certification bodies; monitor updates.
• Support development and implementation of training initiatives and QA activities.
• Interview potential clients to assess mental health needs and eligibility.
• Document diagnostic assessments, treatment plans and progress; coordinate care.
• Provide crisis counseling in field and office settings.
• Educate clients and families about diagnosis, prognosis and treatment options.
• Coordinate with community partners to ensure service linkage.
• Develop and present training programs for departmental staff.
