Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
• Active independent clinical license in Kentucky (e.g., LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, LCADC).
• Minimum of three years post‑graduate direct service experience with substance use and/or co‑occurring disorders; at least one year in supervision.
• Proficient understanding of ASAM criteria, treatment planning, and documentation requirements.
• Familiarity with Kentucky Medicaid behavioral health regulations and payer requirements.
• Experience in evidence-based practices such as CBT, MI, and relapse prevention.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical supervision to counselors, case managers, and peer staff.
• Review and sign clinical documentation for Medicaid, ASAM, and agency standards.
• Monitor treatment plans, assessments, progress notes, and discharge summaries for quality and timeliness.
• Conduct regular case reviews and chart audits to ensure appropriate level of care.
• Oversee delivery of IOP and OP services including group, individual, family therapy, and crisis interventions.
• Facilitate supervision meetings and professional development for clinical staff.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, and evaluating clinical personnel.
• Ensure staff maintain licensure and continuing education.
• Collaborate with Clinical Program Director to meet performance and billing standards.
• Support development of clinical policies and quality improvement initiatives.
• Monitor productivity, caseloads, and program performance indicators.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and client case conferences.
• Provide direct clinical services as needed (assessment, treatment planning, counseling).
• Support crisis response, risk assessment, and safety planning.
