Qualifications

  • Independent licensure or certification required.
  • Must be a BCBA.
  • 3+ years experience with individuals with developmental disabilities/ASD.
  • Hybrid position with minimum travel in clinic.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct oversight and supervision to BCBAs, BCaBAs, RBTs, and Behavior Technicians.
  • Provide behavioral support services, social skills programming, and skill acquisition goals to consumers with ASD and/or behavioral support needs.
  • Conduct assessments, evaluations, training, education, program planning, support services, and clinical services for consumers, families, and staff.
  • Perform behavioral evaluations and liaise with psychiatric supports.
  • Participate in ongoing assessments and develop and monitor behavioral intervention plans.
  • Meet with clients and families, respond to emergencies, and prepare and submit written reports.
  • Maintain caseload files and participate in multidisciplinary and professional teams.
  • Provide staff and family training on implemented programs.
  • Review Functional Behavior Assessments and Behavior Support Plans before implementation.
  • Conduct home and community visits and consumer supervision as needed.
  • Ensure FBAs and behavior support plans are current and include measurable goals.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and psychiatric appointments as needed.
  • Maintain billable-hours spreadsheets and conduct weekly BCBA productivity meetings.
  • Review technician schedules, caseloads, supervision notes, goal progress, milestones, and reassessment or insurance requirements.
  • Create and conduct satisfaction surveys and in-services focused on improving key performance indicators.
  • Monitor required certification documentation, BCBA recertification and supervision training, and RBT renewal dates.
  • Support BCBA scheduling coverage to ensure productivity targets are met.
  • Stay current with State and Federal Regulations and train behavior clinicians on regulatory changes.
  • Review billing for BCBAs, BCaBAs, RBTs, and Behavior Technicians at least on the 15th and last day of each month.
  • Ensure notes include correct supporting documentation, finalized times, and appropriate client utilization.
  • Participate in statewide community activities, recruitment, program development, school-district meetings, and funding-source exploration.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the State Director.

Requirements
  • Must have a master's or doctorate degree in a human-related field that meets or exceeds state funding source-specific requirements
  • Must be independently licensed or certified
  • Must be a BCBA
  • Three or more years' experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or ASD
  • Ability to work in a hybrid position with minimum travel in clinic
