Job description

  • Provide quality clinical supervision and work direction to direct reports
  • Provide discipline-specific treatment for children with developmental delays, disabilities, and autism spectrum disorders
  • Oversee all components of Applied Behavior Analysis programs for the assigned caseload
  • Facilitate behavior programs based on Applied Behavior Analysis principles
  • Conduct behavior assessments and function as an Assessor when needed
  • Provide parent education and develop and deliver intervention activities
  • Liaise between the organization, families, community agencies, therapists, health care providers, regional centers, and school programs
  • Conduct evaluations, case-management reviews, quality assurance reviews, and audits
  • Meet productivity requirements established in the annual budget
  • Lead and attend staff meetings
  • Prepare and provide specialized training and instructional materials
  • Manage and evaluate associate performance and productivity
  • Train and onboard new associates and provide ongoing training to Program Managers and Behavior Interventionists
  • Support recruitment and selection of new program associates
  • Attend conferences and trainings to remain current in autism, special education, and related fields
  • Travel locally as required
Requirements
  • Master’s degree in ABA or a related field
  • Must possess and maintain Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
  • Must possess and maintain current CPR certification
  • 2–3 years of professional experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders in a multidisciplinary team setting
  • Expert knowledge of scientifically validated methodologies and behavioral analytic approaches for children with ASD
  • Expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis intervention approaches
  • Competence in Pivotal Response Training, Natural Environment Teaching, Picture Exchange Communication System, Behavior Skills Training, and Experimental Functional Analysis
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to interpret and implement policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Ability to demonstrate sound judgment and decision-making
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work cooperatively with varied individuals and groups
  • Ability to relate well to children and families
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive documentation
  • Ability to pass a post-offer physical examination and TB test
  • Ability to provide proof of required vaccinations or positive immunity titer
  • Ability to obtain and maintain criminal record/fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice and FBI
  • Up to 50% local travel required
  • Must maintain a compliant driving record, auto insurance, and vehicle registration
